I bought a run down Californian 1973 Hard Top TR6 from Kelowna Canada. It was some what worse than the photos showed. Such as the Left side floor came up with the carpet and underfelt when I ripped it out. The front end was knackered and required a full rebuild. Lets face it that was half expected as it was 36 years old when it arrived down under in Melbourne. So it was trailered back to Batemans Bay NSW where I lived at that time. Since then every thing found has been repaired replaced renewed. Steering wheel & pedals moved to right side of car, Cylinder head planed and inserted for lead free fuel. Compression about 8.5 to 1. New Aussie made 150HP cam 1.55 Roller rockers, Fly wheel trimmed down, Twin SU HS6 carbs, inlet manifold cleaned out to flow better, Aluminium body water pump, Chassis repaired where bent. Sills panel beaten where the car had grounded on them. CV half shafts to rear wheels, Late model Triumph 2500 Overdrive G/box. Sand blasted and full repaint.
Currently fighting with Bundy Tube for brakes and need information as to how long each section is in a RHD car. Can any one help Mad Down Under Bill

can't help with your question, but, quite an ambitious project. sounds great. (and of course you always need to be wary of those pesky Canadians :D ) welcome!

Welcome to the BCF, Bill! If you haven't already, m I would suggest you post any specific TR questions in our Triumph forum. Likely to get more answers there.
