After 5 days of rain, finally sun and cool Fall weather. 6 TR 6's met up at a classic car dealers in Westport and followed each other at a good clip over smooth but winding roads to a farmstand just over the NY border for coffee and. We weher joined by a 7th as well as a beautiful Lamborghini 400 with body by Touring, a Ferrari, 2 Lotuses (Loti?), an Aston Martin DB 2 MK III and several Porsches including a 1959. It was fun comparing cars. Mine still had the original cardboard radiator shroud but a couple of cars had the Goodparts metal shroud. Any opinions on that mod? I was thinking of getting one.

I had a aluminum radiator shroud, but like a lot of blingy stuff, you need to keep it clean and polished if you want to show it off...That got old so when I needed a new shroud because of the collision with a cow back in May, I replaced the shiny one with Richards Black Powder Coated version...taking the pressure off.

BTW, Victoria British sells one made of ABS plastic. I had one of those on my 74...It was pretty durable.

I have a GP one on mine. I quite like it and it has held up well.
