Stag TR6 Engine rebuild in final stage, dyno date 7=22

The GT6 2000cc engine is a much revvier engine. Less rotating mass is one reason why.

Some folks, even racers, prefer the 2000 engine to the 2500.

I do. :yesnod:

What's the theory behind using crmoly push rods? keeping the valve train weight down?
I believe they also flex less, resulting in more consistent valve opening.

I've heard that the stock pushrods look like "dancing spaghetti" under a strobe at 7000 rpm.

yes I am getting stronger pushrods, 0.083 thick instead of the 040 something that I purchased, unfortunately when I purchased them they dont tell you the thickness of the tube they use, also yes I have up rated the rear half shafts to the CV axles, the Diff was rebuild but dont plan on dumping the clutch, also going to a kevlar clutch disc,

Hondo
