The rattle in my right door has been traced to the lower hinge having play around the pin. The upper seems fine, but the lower has definite movement, when the door is moved up and down, the plates that mount to the door seem to be the area with the slop.
Can the hinge be taken apart and a bushing made and installed?
Anyone done this?
