TR6 TR6 door bottom sticking out

The bottom rear of the TR6 door in many photos (passenger side on my car) often does not mate up with the rear fender but rather sticks out. This problem is mentioned in various restoration publications with no reason or solution given. No matter how I try to adjust the door, the problem remains.

The right front fender on my car, just before the A post, was damaged (see attached). The A post does not appear to have been damaged nor can I see other panel warpage.

So before I go crazy looking for something that is not there, is this condition generic to some TR's or indicative of another problem?

Hi has a repair been made if so lets see it and the rear of the door too.--Keoke

Both of my doors are slightly "proud" of the rear fender, more so on the passenger side. Can be easily pushed in to match, seems to be the newer seals that were installed providing additional resistance. Door hangs perfectly, I'm inclined not to adjust mine, minor flaw compared to others that require attention. Andrew
