Morning all,

I have a 73 TR6. The differential is making a small clunking sound when its rotating The car is up on stands and both axles have been disconnected. I am wondering if anyone knows of a quality shop that rebuilds triumph differentials. I'm near Albany NY, but am willing to travel to NJ, Conn, Mass.

Thank You in advance.

Thanks. There is also a place called britishmotorsltd in Ct that does engine rebuilding, transmissions and a whole host of other things.

Is the clunking when rotating back and forth if so it is just the gears to lose and can add add shims to set gear lash to 0.004 0.006 check in three places on gear. If the flanges slide right off then they are broken at the key way and seals are most likely bad also. There is no drain plug and you can do that at the same time on the end cover. Madflyer

Plus One on Quantum Mechanics, they did a great job on my TR4 rear end.

It clunks all while it's rotating or just when the rotating first begins ?
