TR6 TR6 Cylinder Head Indentification

That list is not correct. I (of course!) have a cylinder head that the stamped and casting numbers conflict with the list.

maybe we should post our numbers and years, just to see if there is a rhyme or reason to these numbers.

Here's mine; Casting # 313247 Stamp# 219019
1975 TR6 original head as far as I know.

Opa,

That's the number on my 1974 head as well.

what's your build date Paul? Mine is Dec.31 1974
shipped to British Leyland Halifax Canada May 12 1975, sold in Vancouver BC on or about July 24 1975 according to Motor Vehicle's Branch Registration Dept. I am the third owner to this car. Have all the history since day one.
maybe head casting Number's are all the same for 74 and 75?

Wow, that's amazing, I also have a build date of Dec. 31, 1974. I always wonder how much attention the guys on the shop floor were paying (or how sober they were) when they finished the car off on New Year's Eve

My car was shipped from Felixstowe on July 7, 1975 onboard the vessel Laurentian Forester bound for BL Montreal.

Mine is CF30116UO so 233 before yours. There's a guy on another board from Nova Scotia with a commission number between ours. Coincidence that several late 74.5 models came to Canada?

Cheers,
Martin

looking at mine and some of the sheet metal seams,i'm guessing they'd 'ad a pint or two :thirsty:
see yours is factory od, do you know if the guy in Nova Scotia has an od?
The numbers on the head the same as mine?

My head is also Casting # 313247 Stamp# 219019.
I don't think the NS car has overdrive.
