TR6 TR6 clutch pedal height

The pedal engagement height on my TR6 has risen a bit after just replacing the clutch master and slave with new units from Moss. After 40 years and a few rebuilds I just felt new units might be in order. Anyway, where initial engagement before was close to the floor, now it seems a third to halfway up. The clevis pin on the clutch fork is in the middle hole where it belongs. The car is a late '76.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this and would moving the pin - down a hole probably - restore the prior engagement point?

Thanks in advance and happy 4th of July to all!

That shows that you were in need of a new MC. Old one was worn and taking more travel to push enough fluid to more clutch fork.

Thanks Marv. After some thought I came to the same conclusion; that I've improved it, not worsened it - most folks complain about too little pedal throw out, not too much. Although I don't think I had a worsening issue on my hands since the pedal height had remained unchanged, even with one or two MC rebuilds, over 32 years. The problem now is retraining the left leg. I may try the lower hole for laughs. Thanks again.
