I was thinking the other day that I have never seen the original price of a TR6 or any Triumph for that matter. Does anyone have a build sheet of their car or know of a web site that would have build sheets. Thanks

would you mind copying it onto the computer if you haven't already done so and sending it to me? I just think it would be interesting to look at the paper work. Thanks

just some fyi I don't intent on selling your car on ebay and if I was trying to sell my car and use your build sheet it take much to figure out they don't even go together. Thats fine if you don't want to share it but maybe you guys should just say no and go on your way. It just hit a nerve and I'm a person who wouldn't even think of ripping someone off and let alone another British car owner.

Eric, if I had the build sheet for my TR6, I'd send a copy of it to you. With 135 posts on this site, it should be pretty clear that you are not a Johnny come lately scammer or anything. Some folks are just a little too anal...and I though the whole reason for this forum was the sharing of information. I guess I was wrong.

Dave,
I am not accusing Eric of anything other than wanting to see some paperwork.
Do you have a copy of your SS card? Would you mind posting a picture. How about your drivers license? Maybe a couple of bank account numbers.
You are naive, not to mention rude, for labeling me as anal. Personal attacks dillute the camaraderie of this forum.
Am I the only person on this forum who has the original paperwork? Perhaps others do as well, but were a little more cautious.

Whoa folks- A little humour is all the post was about.

Eric- Please do not think this was an attack at you personally. I am sorry if you didn't get a chuckle out of it.

Okay, this is beginning to get out of hand. Everyone needs to chill out. If you guys want to continue this you should meet on a battlefield somewhere with weapons of your choice and have a fight until just one of you is left standing.

Our entire world would be in much better shape if our leaders would do this instead of sending innocent young men and women to fight their battles for them.

DNK and Musicman,
Why didn't you address ROADSTR6 in your reply? I merely replied to his insult, yet you're pointing to me as the perpetrator? ROADSTR6's comments were out of place and uncalled for. I believe you need to focus your lecture on the correct person.

oh I didn't think of it as a attack at me personally but just kind of hit me wrong. you know when your stressed out and something just pushes you over the edge. well this did it and I guess I was just venting a little bit. It is kind of agravating that someone would think I would rip them off but its hard to tell over the net of peoples intentions.

I just thought it would be interesting to see a build sheet from any Triumph and since I own a TR6 thought it would just mean a little bit more if it was from a TR6. I didn't mean to cause World War 3 here on the forum.

Bobh,

I wasn't directing my comments to anyone in particular. I was merely commenting on the general statements going back and forth between posters. My apologies if you thought I was directing my comments directly to you.

MusicMan
just noticed you had a 87 Tbird. I'm currently driving a 87 Tbird turbo coupe. Is your the 4cyl or the V-8?

Bob,

I never said you accused Eric of anything. As for posting a picture of my SS card or giving out my bank account numbers on this forum, well...no, I don't want to do that. There's a bit of difference between that and sending somebody a copy of the build sheet of a car, however. It's not like he wanted you to post a picture on here...he just wanted you to send him a copy. You could have even whited out the vin number before you sent it to him, but you were not willing. I understand that you're not the only person on the forum who has an original build sheet, but you're the one he asked... and you wouldn't lend a hand. I guess that it just makes me mad that nowadays, we are so unwilling to help others for fear that we will be taken advantage of ourselves. These fears are justified sometimes and I realize that. It's just that I view this forum as a community and one of the last places in the world where I don't feel too bad about letting my guard down if I can help out another LBC person. I'm sorry to label you as anal, but quite frankly, I've been called much worse many many times and did not work myself into near the tizzy as you have over this. I guess I am just rude and naive as you've suggested. I apologize.

Dave

Eric,

Mine is a coupe, but not a turbo. Under the hood is a V-8 (most probably the smaller one).

Bob- I was not aiming the post at you particularly. You were the previos post to me and it showed up as a reply to you. When I post I generally just use the bottom box and not a reply to anyone in general.
To Mr. Overseeer please don't take away my rank and demote me to garbage shoveler 1st class. I apologize!!!!!

Everyone,
Over, finished and forgotten. As soon as I finish developing the technololgy I'll fax all of you a beer.
Eric,
All of my paperwork was mounted on a display board by the previous owner. It's not practical to make a copy.
