TR6 TR6 Brakes

Hello, fellow British car lovers!

I replaced my defective brake servo on a '74 TR6, bled brakes, and with engine off, got brake pedal resistance. After I started the car, brake pedal went full throw to the floorboards without resistance. What did i do wrong? How to fix?

I'm thinking the servo sucked up brake fluid when you cranked the engine.

Check the connections.

OEM b/c/servo air may have gotten trapped in lines, before R&R the system needed to bleed brakes several times before pedal firm

Tom, rechecking all my connections, thanks for the tip. Thanks, too, for the nice welcome and the entertaining link.
My avatar is merely generic--closest I could find to represent a fighter in service during the year of my birth. You have a good eye, though, as it does resemble an early model P-47. I actually got the British roadster bug while serving as a USAF fighter pilot (F-4) at RAF Lakenheath, UK, in the early '70s!

U R Welcome Bill lots of new low quality parts out there usually have to bleed 2-3 times (perhaps all you need to do) when R&R to rid system of air in line causing same issues you speak of good huntin'
