I'm trying to remove the pistons from calipers but not having any luck. Tried using air pressure but they did not move. I've done this years ago and thought I used air to do this. Should be simple procedure right?
 
it should be unless the pistons are rusted up and frozen in the calipers, if air will not pop them out you could put the calipers back on the car and with out the rotor and shoes installed use hydrolic pressure, brake force to force them out, if you get one out clean it up and put it back in the bore and clamp it in and try to pop the other one out the same way,,, good luck
 
In the old days, guys used to open the bleeders and use a grease gun to force pressurized grease back in through the caliper, thus driving the pistons out. If that wouldn't work, the pistons were usually frozen into the housing and the unit was scrap.
 
I used a spare master cylinder and brake fluid. If you really need allot of pressure, use the master cylinder in the car an push down on the peddle. If that doesn't work order a rebuilt brake.
