TR6 TR6 Body Removal

I am planning to remove the body from my TR6 in order to carry out some frame repairs.
I watched a movie on YouTube, "Tr6 restoration body removal from rusted frame"
Anybody on here who was part of that team?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QdRRiOH2GA
I like the way they removed the body from the frame but I would like to know how they got the body separated from the frame and in a position to lift it.
Frame was on the floor and body was approx 3 feet above the frame.
Did they jack the frame and body that high, block the body then drop the frame down?
Any ideas for doing it appreciated.
I don't want to use an engine hoisy and straps, I like the way it was done in the video as the doors remained in place.
My body and paint is 9.5 out of 10 so would like to leave together as much as possible.
I will remove the hood and trunklid as in the video though.
Thanks for your ideas.

My guess is they physically lifted it to the stands. Jacks could easily damage the body unless there were four or more, and still would be slower and more tedious. With as many guys as they had helping, lifting would be pretty easy.

When I removed my TR6 body I used an inexpensive chain hoist and strap to remove it. Of course, I removed mine before it was painted, so you will have to be careful to keep the paint from being damaged.
Below is a photo of the body getting ready to be lowered back onto the frame. If you look closely, you can see the chain and strap coming from the ceiling.

For what you want to do, I agree with Marv. Just make sure you prepare in advance a secure place to move the body to so you can set it down safely.

Six guys lift it off and set it on a wooden jig.

Could anyone make out the license plate?
I was thinking that you'd want to have 6+ good
friends (& maybe some good-looking girls in bikinis-
for incentive),& lots of beer (for after).
