I am in need of a pair of footwell toe boards for a TR6. Unfortunately Roadster Factory seems to be the only place that offers them and the LH side is on indefinate backorder since last fall. I'm surprised considering they are listed on the Moss Europe site that Moss here isn't able to get them. I guess if I have to get them out of the UK I will but unfortunately the shipping is going to be a killer. Anyone know of any other sources for these parts or happen to have some laying around?
 
BRS, are you speaking of the footwell side boards that are covered in carpet?
 
No the very front panels, part of the firewall. RF lists them as parts 815837, and 811981. I have new side panels but didn't realize how bad the other ones were until I started tearing things apart.
 
Have you tried Rimmer Brothers in the UK? They have pretty good shipping rates to the US.
 
Do you mean 96 and 97?

You might do better contacting them... whenever I call they are most responsive. It's possible they can source them for you.
 
After I posted that I saw that they do list them. Yes those are the 2 parts. 96 is in stock, 97 on backorder (except for RH drive). Unfortunately those panels are the ones holding up the whole show for me. I'll try contacting them to see if they may have some idea when they will be available.
 
Heard back from Rimmer Bros and they are telling me that there is no ETA for new panels to be in stock. Nobody in the US has the LH one. Any other suppiers that might have it?
 
everything from the battery tray down is peppered with holes and completely gone at the bottom especially where it meets the inner sill.
 
I'm not sure I should even tell you this. But I have a NOS Heritage LH toe kick panel but it's not for sale.

Looks relatively easy to have one made and I can photo if you need. It will be used in my 4A to change over to a TR6 dual braking master as well as repair the drivers kick area.

I checked TRF and it's on sale for less than I paid years ago. Funny since you say they are out of stock. Why would they list it on sale?
 
Thats kind of what I'm wondering. I ordered the RH side but the LH one they told me has been on backorder since last fall. Contacted Rimmer Bros and nothing, Moss Europe and nothing. It's looking like I'm going to have to patch together one from a few of them and make one work.

I'm wondering if I can get the LH side for a RHD car and just use my old one as a template to cut the holes for the master cylinders. Anyone have a picture of the LH upper part of the toe board on a RHD car?
 
I think I have a set for you off a TR4a that was cut up. They aren't show room new, but they are factory.

If you want a beautiful ecoated part these aren't for you, if you want solid sections that can be worked with these should be fine.
 
I've got a new RH side but the LH side isn't available for a LHD car. Unfortunately the 4A and 6 these panels were different or I would take you up on that.
