Some of you might be aware of my continuing starting problems w/ my new-to-me '74. Determined to not waste another Saturday, I braved the 80º weather, and drove my TR3 to our bi-weekly breakfast meet. While there, I checked over a nice '74, and noticed a more complex ground system than I have. This was a stranded lead from the battery to a ground point just below the accelerator cross-shaft, and then from that to the engine, and somewhere else on the body.
Are you 6 owners running something similiar, or is this overkill? My 3 has a separate body to engine lead, I don't think my 6 does...
Happily, when I got home, Dan Masters' Electrical Bible had come in the mail! Exciting reading this week!
