Today, July 13 I was walking down the road in Martha's Vineyard, and a very nice late model blue TR6 went by.
Does anyone know who that car is owned by?

I have been away from my TR for over a week, I need the fix...

Just curious, but where is Martha's Vineyard from Laguna Beach, CA? I thought Martha's Vineyard was where the Kennedy's hung out in Massachusetts. Take care, dale

I'm with Dale. Didn't even check Richards location. Martha's Vineyard, West Coast???

Guys
I am on vacation, visiting with some friends in Martha's Vineyard. I am from the west coast (Laguna Beach). In Martha's Vineyard today I saw a very nice late 1974+ TR6 go by with Florida plates. I was hoping some one knew who's it is.Yes Martha's Vineyard is on the East Coast.

Boy, I thought they sold it to some West coast Tycoon.
Glad that's settled!

Be careful. He's on the other coast now.

I was looking at the CCBCC roster and I'm not sure who owns that car.

If you stop in RI, left me know and I'll show you another 74 TR6.

Have a nice vacation!

thanks.
And if you are ever in Southern Calif. you could see a lot of TRs at Cars and Coffee every Saturday morning.

richards!! we saw the car parked in edgartown (martha's vineyard) on saturday afternoon (3-ish). it stopped me and my 5 yr old son dead in our tracks. as you say, it's a 74 (evident by the front bumper), the color looked like delft blue (with correct blue interior!!). nice paint job, interior a little faded, awesome bumper chrome, wheel rims a little scratched up, the radio looked period (had the "A"s and "F"s imprinted on the push buttons). sadly, i never got to meeting the lucky owner.

the only other tr6 i noticed last week on the vineyard was a maple colored one parked in oak bluffs, which looked a little dusty but otherwise not badly neglected.

it was a pleasant surprise to see so many classics over there (orange 73 mgb, two '57 belairs, white '53 vette)..

i was pretty close to getting my tr6 out there, but i'm in the midst of a clutch replacement and got hung up pretty bad with the tranny mounts until yesterday.

are you staying in MV? we are leaving tomorrow, but I know we will be back next summer.
Maybe by then you will have yours up and running and we could get together to trade TR stories and find the owner of the blue one !!

If you guys let me know in advance of when you're going to be there, we'll take the ferry over to meet you with our TR6 for the day.

We got back on sunday, lovely week aside from the shark warnings.

How cool would it be if us three could get down there on the same week... finally i get to see if Paul's 74 is as good as the pictures

We usually stay at the vineyard during the week after independence day and before the shark tournament. Less crowds, less traffic, better parking, etc.

I will ping you guys early next year about this (earlier the better to get a car spot on the ferry!) Who knows.. if we should find mister 74 delft blue, we could start an east coast Pebble Beach (South Beach Concours d'Elegance??)

OK, you guys are doing the traveling so keep me in the loop and maybe I can get Al, Greenie, BobbyD, Erik and a few others to join us for a great day on the Vineyard.

Or maybe you can plan it closer to a Cape Cod British Car Club event and we'll have a lot to do for a few days.
