TR6 AS A “FASHION MODEL”

As a test of one of our new film sound stages, I set up a “amateur” still shoot, using my 1974 TR6.

So we shot these test pictures of my TR6 and if you look around at the following site you will see pictures of two Lotus(s)? And a Porsche. This little test session took eight hours. A lot of time trying to get the lighting just right. Gives me a lot or respect for the professionals. I would also like to recommend you all take a look at the site for pictures of the Crystal Cove Saturday morning cruise. The variety of cars is fantastic.
I just finished having a W58 Toyota five speed installed. My 4speed/od Trans bit the dust.

For fun please see:

Richard,
Please tell me that your TR6 has some flaws, somewhere. Those are knocked out gorgeous! I'll tell you, if you were to use photos like that to sell your car, the price would certainly go up. Did you do the resto, or is that being catty. Niiiicccee.

Wow, that's a nice car.

I've been trying to think up a good place as well to do a "photo shoot" of my own. Not having access to a nice film stage, I'm a having a little trouble finding a place that's orginal and not a parking lot.

Any ideas?

Some of the best outdoor locations I've used for shooting friends cars were cemeteries. Pavement is usually in really good condition and with proper placement you won't have any stones in the background.

When I bought it, the paint was done. I have taken off the bumper overriders, chromed the front bumper, lowered the car(GoodParts springs, etc), installed the wheels and tires, installed a w58 Toyota trans, installed a radio, new gas tank, and etc, etc. The previous owner was into the cars looks, which I enjoy, but the best part is driving!!

Very nice TR!I usually end up parked next to guys like you
at the shows.I guess that keeps me humble.
