Does anyone know of a leather aftermarket wheel that's slotted like the originals, and not drilled with holes?

Hi There bunzil;

Never saw one, "Anywhere"!!

I purchased a new, OE style wheel from TRF that has black-painted slotted spokes (3) and is very close to the original. The padded rim is soft and leather-like. I bought one of those leather steering wheel covers that stitches on and spent a whole day sewing it on. A rather nice end result that looks "almost" factory and gives me a little thicker grip. I like the fatness of the end result and gives me a good grip with my leather driving gloves.

Mota lita has a slotted leather version, though arguably it doesn't look like the original it looks like a Mota lita..

Here's a link to an example:

Thanks Randy - the Mota Lita is what I am looking for. Oddly, none of our American suppliers seem to carry the slotted version in leather, which I feel most closely duplicates the original. Prices in the UK seem less however, so maybe that's the way to go.
