TR6 TR6 accelerator linkage help needed

The accelerator control rod assembly that runs under the intake manifold to the bell crank has a spring on it. There appears to be a fitting that the rod runs through to compress the spring. For the life of me, I cannot find the part or any reference to it, although I can see were the rod had worn,

Any pictures or references to this bracket so I can fabricate one will be appreciated. Even better does anyone have one?

Ray, I'm thinking what you are looking for is a 2 prong forklike part of the support bracket that the bell crank lever pivots on.
If that's it the fork is not a separate piece but rather part of the bracket.
Are we on the same page ?
Ahh. I see Paul has posted a picture. The red arrow on the left is pointing to the "fork"

Thanks guys,Paul's picture shows what I need. What I have is a TR250 bracket and bell with the spring rod from a TR6. Somewhere, twenty years ago, I stored the piece from my 6 so I would have it when needed. Now where did I put it...

I know this is a late response, but I just joined the site.

TR6oldtimer, you probably realize this, but there's a flat washer between the spring and the bracket. The i.d. should be large enough to let the shaft slide freely, but small enough to keep the spring from getting through.

Hey Lewis, thanks for partaking in the dialog. The bracket I have was worn where the rod passed through. A little welding, a little grinding, some filing, and once re-plated, just like new.
