TR4/4A TR4A Upper Wishbone Bushings

If I'm recalling correctly, I can put the car on jack stands, put a jack under the spring pan, pop off the ball joint, leave the tie rod and brake caliper all in place, remove the upper wishbone arms and replace the bushings--without dismantling the lower arms or removing the spring. I might not even need a new alignment.

Does all that sound correct? Or will the coil spring and lower arms react in some way to the upper arms being removed?

Thanks all.

I believe you are correct, though I didn't use a jackstand when I did it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif
