Hi from the UK.

My '66 TR4A is a daily driver and I just found the most original Triumph Italia on the planet!

Any other Italia lovers out there?

Cheers,

Welcome to BCF! You're a lucky man to find that Italia.

Pictures would be nice (hint hint).

Good to have you with us.
Tom

Welcome...pictures of course...
I have the TR4A but only a picture on my computer for my Italia! I still have not seen one in person but maybe one day that will happen. Beautiful car and I imagine a great find.

Cheers,
Irene

Congrats on a beautiful car. Even the door pull is a work of art. What are your plans for it?

Kevin,

The car is on the road and will be used as the maker intended.
It will be on display during the TR Register International Weekend in England 9-11 August (very shortly!)
No restoration is required as the car is in perfect condition but the paint will need careful conservation and repair. It is not an option to do nothing as the original single stage paint has dried badly and is lifting and cracking in places which will only get worse.
For now I am cleaning and detailing the car and photographing everything for the benefit of future restorers.
So far I have not found a single part, nut or bolt that is not original to the car.

It already drives very sweetly considering the suspension rubber parts are perished and will need to be replaced along with brake and fuel lines for safety and modern fuel.

Hi There foxhunter,

"Welcome" to "THEE" best LBC Forum anywhere on the planet.

There`s a place called "Ragtops & Roadsters" in Pennsylvania, USA. One of the folks has one there totally restored & is just gorgeous. I`ve seen it at many shows & wins "Tons" of awards.

Best Wishes with your find.

Russ
