Paul,
I really like the HVDA hydraulic T/O bearing. With that being said, you have to re-teach yourself how to drive the TR after the installation. You only have to depress the pedal just a little bit in order to dis-engage the clutch unlike using about 3/4th of the pedal before the install. The engagement is butter smooth but feels very different than the old setup.. not bad, just different. More like a new car.
The installation is really no more difficult than a regular clutch.. but you have to be careful with the measurements that you take... mess that up and you blow the seals in the bearing. Just to be sure, I did the required measurements like 10 times because I really don't want to take that blasted gearbox out again. If you install the gearbox while the engine is out of the car, the install would be super easy.
The best part is Herman Van Den Akker, he made himself available several times to answer my crazy questions. He's a very smart and dedicated Triumph guy.
