TR4/4A TR4A seems to "wander" as it goes down the road

Re: TR4A seems to "wander" as it goes down the road

So, when you did this, did you change out the rack AND the arms with tie-rod ends?
So, the toe-in is now different?

I don't know as it's "fixed" yet, as if you just added or subtracted a handful of toe, you may have masked it.

I personally can't believe a rack would change operation like that with tyres, BUT I can believe tyres can make a car handle much differently.

If you did swap it all, do a measurement with arms straight from zerk to zerk on both.

Toe is set to the vehicle, based upon frame measurements which are most likely slightly different from car to car, steering arm differences (especially if you've pranged a curb or two), thing like that.
