We're installing the rivets that hold the male snaps on the outside of the B post finishers and on the first try we ended up with a loose snap. The rivets seem a bit long as they measure about 7/16. Tried a smaller rivet with the same results. Just wanted to sort this out before we started on the door snaps. Any ideas? Thanks

See if your rivet gun insert is rounded enough to go down inside the snap. If not, it lets the rivet come up flush with the top of the snap and after it pops, it leaves space to let the snap move around. Quick fix is grind the pop rivet gun insert to fit snugly inside the snap.

That was it! We checked our rivet gun and it has a pointed end but not pointed enough to seat inside the snap. Off to the grinder! Thanks for the help.
