I found this number stamped on the underside of the body: ZS 71433. Does anyone know what it signifies?

Thanks for your help.

That is the "body in white" number . IMG_1609.jpg Mine was found inside the LH rear wheel well. Probably just to ID the painted body.

Apparently this number is not recorded anywhere, so is not traceable to your or any car.

Same here...I was trying to get a Heritage Certificate based on the body in white number, engine number, and front cross member number since the vin/commission number plates were missing. They tried with the engine number, but couldn't find anything and didn't know what the body in white number referred to.
