TR4/4A TR4a motor mount preferences?

Do you guys like the round or rectangular motor mounts better? I know the rectangular ones are for the TR4a, but have heard the round ones may last longer. What do you think guys?

I like them both.

Actually, I think I started with the rectangular ones, and had to back-date to the round ones. The rectangle mounts were not thick enough and the fan pulley was resting on the steering rack.

We use the round motor mounts with the torque reaction arm on the opposite side of factory (to work under acceleration) on the race car.

The rectangular mounts with metal sides were designed to lessen drive train inertia movement back and forward. More so when the rubber ages. They can be packed up to suit with the same large round washers as supplied for the circular engine mounts.

These aren't shown on the above drawing, but were factory part 134234 Washer, packing. TRF might have them - they use factory part numbers.
