I like it for its possibilities. It could be made into a Dove like creation. How about a GT6 look for inspiration? The idea of an American V8 in a small British has been and continues to be of interest. It has already been hacked so why not continue the process into something a bit better looking. Buy it cheap, haul it home, get your metal bending buddies over, get out the beer and figure out something cool.
