Not my cuppa tea and certainly not for the shy retiring types either.
Show up at Triumphest in that and you will get to meet everyone.
Everyone with pitchforks & torches.

As Triumph enthusiast, it seems sacrilegious to us that someone would do this to a "collectible" car. But it was probably done a while back when it was not yet a collectible, or it could have been a total basket case and someone decided to do something a little outrageous with it. (C'mon, check some old pictures of yourselves in the seventies---why would anyone dress like that or wear their hair like that?!) People do a lot of strange things with many different cars. Triumphs are not exempt. This car may be more restorable now than if it had sat in a back yard for three decades rusting away waiting for the funds or motivation to do a frame-off. And the seller is clearly not the one who did the mods, so we can't hold it against him. Just my two cents (which are probably only worth one cent!)boeingpilot said:Why would someone do such a thing?
