Lads and Lasses,

After an 18 month restoration and then a few more months for winter to loosen its grip I was able to take my first drive in my Triumph.
In between some unexpected snow squalls along the Michigan side of the Lake Huron coastline, I was able to finally experience and now understand the sheer joy you all speak about. The combination of the roarty exhaust note, gear changes, smell of petrol etc... brought me something close to nirvana.
All i have to do now is have it shipped to Switzerland and do it all over and over and over again.

That is great to hear. Did you take any pictures of the finished product to share with us?

 Way to go... welcome to the club

Congratulations ... that first drive after restoration is very rewarding. Hopefully, I'll be able to do that in my TR3 pretty soon. Cheers, Mike

BOC, welcome to the Triumph "club". If anyone has any doubt about what made these cars so popular, all he has to do is drive a nicely sorted TR-4: classic looks, lovely design and extremely fun to drive and own.

Please post pics, let us see your car.

Cheers, keep the sunny side up!
