TR4/4A tr4a head bolt

Is it ok to loosen one head bolt only. The right rear head bolt also holds an engine lifting bracket and i need to remove this bracket to replace the exhaust manifold. thanks Grant
 
Since that is (possibly) the last one you torque when doing the head I think it likely that you can undo & redo w/o consequence. In fact, I'm fairly sure I did that to install a rear lifting bracket.
 
Should be no problem. Just torque it back up before trying to start the engine.
