I recently bought a Spifire that will require less time and money to put on the road than the TR4A that has been sitting in my garage. I'm thinking of selling the 4A to a club member who has the wherewhithall to restore it properly. The 4A needs floors and sills otherwise the frame seems OK. There is evidence of of bondo and bodged bodywork on some panels. Usual hydraulics and and brakes will need to be done. Seats have been redone but a couuple of holes in the vinyl.Rest of interior and carpet is finshed. The good part is that the engine starts and runs well. 140 psi all 4 cyls. Strombergs.Transmission is non OD. The car is otherwise complete as to all the small stuff and gauges and dash are there. The car would benefit fom a frame off resto. Has an aftermarket hard top. I'm looking to get at least $2500 for it. Does this seem fair considering the engine appears to have been redone at some point. Any input most welcome. CK Have no pics as yet.
