TR4/4A TR4A engine block tag

Rummaging through the remaining bits I revceived when I bought my project is a brass tag embosssed EB7xxxxxx. On the left rear side of my block is an indentation in the casting that matches this tag even the holes in the tag. I didn't think that TRs had these tags but I am now wondering if this one is from my block ... or elsewhere?

Any ideas?

Does anyone have such a tag on their TR4A block and if so how is it attached? I though that I might just JBWeld it in place .

Sounds a lot like a body tag from the firewall of a TR3.

Thought it might be because it came in a box with some other TR3 stuff but it is exactly the same size as the casting marks on the 4A block so I thought I'd ask.
