TR4/4A TR4A Dual Exhaust Question

Jeremy, from the bottom edge of the bumper to the top of the pipe measures just less than 1 3/8". I believe the problem with 4A duals discoloring/dirtying the bumper is more an issue of them ending short of the bumper - not necessarily how close they are. I got tired of the constant cleaning and installed these extensions which cured it. I also had extensions on my first TR4A - 40-plus years ago.

Where did you get your extensions?
They're by a company called Superior. The 1 5/8" inside diameter "fits like a glove - the set screws aren't needed. The full length chrome was a bit much for me so I taped and painted all but the tips. Here's a place that sells them: https://www.brandsport.com/sprr-28-2301.html
Back in the day, the Triumph dealer in my area would install similar exhaust tips on all their 4A's.
