Does anyone know where I can find (or have) the correct paint and trim codes that were used for the 1967 TR4A on the commission tags. Also I am trying to find what the gross laden weight was on those same tags. In particular I am looking for the paint code for Signal Red and the trim code for black with white trim. Thanks in advance.

The paint code for siganl red is 32, and the trim code for black with white piping is 11. They list two weights dry @ 2128lbs & Kerb @ 2240 lbs.

Adrio -

Paint code on the commission plate for signal red on the TR4 was 32. Not sure of the code for black, but one source says 11. "Dry Weight" was 2128 lbs. "Kerb weight" was 2268 lbs.

Hope this helps,
Mickey

Thanks for that. It is exactly what I needed.

You may want to research a bit more... some of the models included an 'H' after the trim code (for "hyde") if the interior was leather. Also... can;t recall if the correct plate for a TR4A would have shown weight in kilos or pounds.

For some models (some TR4, perhaps others) the weight was labeled on the plate but was left blank (no numer stamped).

Thanks Geo. I always wondered what the "H" on my commission plate meant. The leather's long gone, but it's nice to know it used to be there.
