TR4/4A TR4A BRG #75 paint code Ditzler 42487

I posted some months ago with the PPG formula in single stage DCC for this color and it was a exact match but very very expensive.
I just discovered another source which is much more reasonable.
TCPGlobal.com provided an exact match using acrylic urethane $55/Qt and $20/half pint hardener. Even less if you buy A gallon of paint and a quart of hardener.
This is the dark green with a blue tint not the lighter green (#25).
The only drawback (if you are in the East Coast like me) is that it comes from San Diego via ground. Figure on 3-5 days for the mix and another 3-5 days for shipping

The 25 I am familiar with was called Triumph Racing Green in 1964, at other times called Conifer. It is a green with a blue tint. Not something I would call light but that may be relative.

Called BRG on this chart:

I take it that 75 is much darker?

Okay - Maybe the reference to #75 in the subject line is a typo and we are talking about the same thing?

Here is a picture of the 2 colors put on a background of the vent flap which was the original. 2 pogiveints. The color you see on the screen does not necessarily match what you see in person. Second, shadows and lighting can also give variations. In any case the 75 is the darker one the 25 is the lighter one.
Apparently TR changed BRG somewhere in 1965. The one I was looking for is the #75 and I was quite happy with the TCPGlobal mix. They will supply a sprayout sample for $35 but I decided to order just a quart for $55 to see what is really was and I just completed the follow up order for another 3 quarts. This gallon plus 1 quart of hardener will cover the whole car including the trunk, interior, engine room and the panels under the fenders and wheel wells (I hope).

I used the TCP global single stage urethane for me TR250 as well (signal red). Probably 1/2 or 1/3 the price of the name brands, worked fine. I think they save the formula they use to mix your paint so if you order more you should get the exact same thing.

PS A gallon was enough for me to paint the whole car inside and out, including a repaint of the doors and a fender because of some self created issues. I ended up buying another quart but once again due to self inflicted issues.
