TR4/4A TR4 tires

Given that the Beetle was named the Car of the Century and VW built about a billion of them one would think 165x15s would be everywhere... but I have had a hard time finding much choice. Certainly not the plethora of brands available 5 or 6 years ago.

As for balancing... I recall my old Dad used to pull the bearings from a front wheel, clean them, then reinstall and mount the tire and balance it on the wheel by trial and error. Well, it got him out of the house for the afternoon.

Afterwards he would repack the bearings and it was good to go.
