Can anyone tell me the color/code for the original black steel dashboard on the TR4 please. On the existing paint that I have it looks more like a metallic dark gray !

The '61 Tr4 I used to own had a Spa White steel dash.

Perhaps BB means the steel dash that lies beneath the wood dash on later TR4s:

That is a very dark brown.

I had some VW L82 Silver White on the shelf so I painted it with that. I doubt anyone's going to call me on it.

My 1962 TR4 dash was still the original Spa White when I bought the car in 2008 and when I repainted the dash the color was a perfect match to the original.

In the photo graph the tab with the hole inside the instrument panel opening was taped off when I repainted the dash to show how close the paint color was to original. I can not tell the difference.

I bought the Spa White from the TCP / Autocolorlibrary at: https://www.autocolorlibrary.com/aclchip.aspx?image=1963-Triumph-pg01.jpg
