While enduring about 10 movie trailers before the feature, I was startled to glimpse a beat-up red TR4 with wires (just like my old college car) on the big screen. Hopefully someone with small kids will see it (opens this weekend) but its at the 4 second point in this trailer:

I had that exact paint scheme on my car at one point, but it was the door with the red primer, not the front fender.
 
Where do we sign up to have our cars used in films? That would be pretty cool........of coarse under the condition that I drive as a double. I looked like Danny Bonaduce when we were both young. I even had the Partridge haircut.
 
Wow.. that could easily be my old TR4A. It was missing the chrome down the sides... but it looked a lot like that... Hmmm. I'd like to see some more shots.
 
I have one that looks just like that, wires, rust and all. Makes me want to figure out an excuse to go to see it.

Time for a where are they now...like whatever happened to that $97,000 TR4, now that the exact opposite gets in a movie about to be seen by millions. Think of what Columbo did for Peugeot.
