There is an plug on the top surface that looks like either aluminum or lead. Moss sells a plug that is aluminum but the threads seem to be different.
Does anyone know about the plug? What thread pitch and size?

Head was leaking and head shop told me it needed to be replaced.
 
I"ve not messed with it, but one of my heads has a big iron pipe plug stuck in that hole. It's only in by a few threads (judging by how much sticks out), but it doesn't seem to leak.
