TR4/4A TR4 grill - aluminum or chrome?

So what are the correct grills supposed to be made of, and should they be polished or more of a brushed look like the original TR6 trim rings for the wheels?

Aluminum & the finish looks pretty much like a stamped 3A grile.

TR4 ONLY. TR4A had horizontal bars, not stamped in one piece like the 4.

I think that the 4/4A has an anodized aluminum coating on the grille.

Ah - didn't know there was that much of a difference between the 4 and 4a. I have a 4a, so it should be anodized aluminum I guess. What would you use to clean that up?

As Randy alludes to, the TR4 grille is stamped (and anodized) aluminum. I believe the TR4A grilles are die-cast?
