TR4/4A TR4 Fuel Line to Carbs question

I have added an electric fuel pump and fuel regulator and was wondering if there is any performance difference as to which carb (front or back) the main fuel line should be attached? Rerouting my main fuel line, I may want to add it to the back carb first. Thanks.

I don't see how it will make a difference which way you connect - the line normally splits right in front of the front carb, there should be minimal pressure drop across that short section between the carbs.

If you are thinking of routing your line between firewall and engine, though, there could be a problem with heat buildup.

I would think any minor difference in pressure would be moot as you are just filling the bowls... actual fuel to carbs is controlled by jets & gravity.

OTOH, as noted, think about the temps in any new area you run the line.
