Still trying to find out what happened to my friends TR4 Dove. He bought it in 74 and sold some years later. Many years ago I saw a photo of it in Texas painted green. It was originally pale blue. My friend sold it after he had an accident. He was transporting it on a trailer behind a car. Unfortunately the trailer wheel broke and the whole thing turned upside down, which squashed the original fibreglass top. The guy he sold it to said he was going to convert it back to an ordinary TR4, but obviously did not having seen the photo of it restored??

Ok, so no replies ? Maybe the car is still around but has been converted to an ordinary TR4 ?? It was RHD and when I saw the picture of it in Houston, it still had the British registration on the front that was something like BPB***B ??

I am sure that is the same car, as they are so rare. I knew the car had gone to Houston many years ago. I have put a comment on the Facebook link, but would really like the current owner to contact me as I have interesting information for him on the cars history in U.K.
