TR4/4A TR4 chassis... what is it worth?

I have a TR4 chassis I want to sell but am wondering just what it is worth. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure of its value, but it has the newer improved steering rack mounts.

I paid $200.00 for a nice frame for a TR3A back in 1999. It replaced the rusted out frame for a TR3A that I restored.

I would check it out on ebay or call a few used parts places see what they would sell one to you for. You can find them on the net.

Prices can be variable, especially if you have local demand or not - the fact that it is difficult to ship will likely hurt you.

If you were in Texas, I'd have no problem offering $200 for it, as I would eventually like to replace the one I have due to some relatively minor but annoying damage the previous owner added after driving into a concrete parking barrier.

I've seen cleaned up, 'restored' frames being marketed at around $1000. A similar condition to yours, but earlier style frame for a TR4 was a no sale a couple of months ago for the princely sum of $75.
