Thanks for the pics - I wonder if that one TR3 is an original color - is that Coffee? I've never seen that shade before.

Beige, ICI 2918 was listed for TR3,3A between 1956-58. I have never seen one, but I've had this ad photo for years. Looks nice with the red hardtop, IMO.

The '57 I had was beige with blue leather from the factory, according to the Heritage Trust. The beige part was right, as that was what was under the awful BRG someone had done. I think the dealer changed out the blue leather, as it had stone vinyl when I got it, and it appeared to be the proper age for the car.

BTW...my favorite:

So Randy, I take it this officially means your position "strongly prefer black" is a thing of the past?

9 hour drive home and lots of time to think abut this. I think I am going to pass. $40k for the car is fine...but it is almost too good. I would feel bad racking 5,000 miles on it and getting a stain on the carpet, etc....

While I appreciate the attention to detail, I think one can almost go too far. The story about the top on that car is really cool. Putting it up & down and wearing it out knowing it is a one of a kind seems a bit too much.

I have come to my own personal conclusion that the car belongs in a museum and not on the road....and I am not buying one to be a garage / trailer queen. I want a nice one mind you, but I will be driving it as well.

As for the color. Kinda liked that off white look....

Make sense?

By the way in case all of you are wondering... Lukke44 and I met up at this meet and their was a concourse car in quite nice shape for sale. I was way past tempted for a period of time yesterday morning

The last TR3 (57) I got was the biege color, but I thought they called it oyster?

GBRandy - If you like white, I am working on finishing a white 60 TR3A (just painted) . Interior will be/is tan. Lots of new parts. Will be selling it to sponsor new projects. PM if interested. Doubt it will be finished for couple of months.

Wow; I`ve never seen so many TR3s in one place @ the same time. Nice Pics Luke. Where were they taken in S. Jersey?

I`m going to have my `57TR3 Small Mouth painted a "Similar" color as the "Beige". Mine may be a shade or two lighter than the one shown. I`m going this wk. to pick out the color (Ivory / Beige) of somesort. My Int (Sitting in my closet) is a Deep Dk. Burgundy piped in White. Should look pretty cool. Your all correct; You don`t get to see this color combo too often.

Happy Hunting Randy,

Russ

Russ, the pictures were taken at the TRA in Holmes County, Ohio, near Wooster. Thanks for posting the pictures, Luke. Sure wish I would have gone down to see these cars.

I would love to see more photos of the car in the third picture. The shot of the bonnet is way over the top. Are there any links, or does anybody have more pictures.

The car is TS19396LO. It is also in the second picture of my first post. As well it is in GB Randy's second post (his favorite).

Here are some more - enjoy.

Very nice restoration, thanks for posting more pictures. Did there happen to be any Winchester, or Salvador blue cars at the show?
