Hey out there.
Looking for tire/wheel advice for a '62 TR3B.

Just acquired a new set of centre-lock Minator Minilite replicas 5-1/2 x 15.
Considering 185/70 Vredesteins or 195/65 Michelins.

Any and all thoughts/advice on handling, rubbing issues, etc.
Thnx, Russ

I've got 185/70-15s Vredestein Sprint Classics on 5 1/2" wire wheels. No rubbing issues. It's a nice tire. Good handling and pretty sticky. I've only driven them once in the rain, but they gave me no reason to lose confidence in them in that situation. It's a summer compound tire, so it's no good for the snow. I think the 185/70 size looks proper for a TR3. IMHO, much larger with a smaller aspect ratio starts to look out of place on a TR3.
