Thanks. I googled that one and it is the newer OAT formulation and is considered "yellow." Do you know how it differs from the All Vehicles 10 year Prestone below ? This is so confusing.

As I mentioned on the TRE thread, I just use the "regular" All Vehicle Prestone (green fluid). I didn't mean to be confusing!

On the topic of which antifreeze... anyone ever try the Evans "waterless" type? You cannot have any water in the system at all when you put it in which would deter me from ever using unless I'm putting it in a brand new engine with all new cooling system which is what I'm doing. I guess what appeals to me in that there is essentially no maintenance - like 10 years and it will not corrode any of the internal engine parts (or so they say...)

I’m seriously considering the Evans coolant for the reasons you note and also that it doesn’t pressurize the system. I have new green hoses (not the reinforced silicon hoses which are too far off the originals in appearance for me) and original style clamps…
Evans has good reviews by the folks who have used it in the 6-pack.org site. Google searches turn up mixed reviews but if it works and it’s “lifetime“ then I’m willing to take the plunge. My coolant system is empty and dry at the moment…
