TR3A wind deflector plexiglass polish?

I am trying to use the original wind deflectors and the hardware will be easy enough to polish up but the plexiglass is a bit scratchy, not horrible. I would like to get it as polished up as I can. Anyone had good luck with this? I was thinking of using the polish that I have for tobacco pipes which have acrylic stems.

Thanks in advance!

Silly. I should have searched a bit more using other terms (perspex, acrylic). I found a few good ideas.

What I like to use is 3m Perfect It II rubbing compound, found at your local auto body supply store. It is a polish the works wonderfully on plastic or on a vehicles finish. This compound cuts chemically with zero abrasives. It will work on dash bezels, tail lamps,or andy painted surface, with a polisher or by hand.
