Has anyone on the list used this kit, or have any BTDTs? The price is attractive, but I have never done any reupholstery work. I don’t know if I could tackle this myself or bring the kit and the seats to someone local.

I would appreciate any thoughts.

All of the usual suppliers have decent kits. Here is my thread showing what is envolved, so you can get an idea if you want to do it yourself:

I used the TRF kit within the last year. I recall that there were some instructions that came with it that briefly told me the order to put them together. Once you get a kit if you can't do it, I suspect some local upholster would be willing to do it for you.

Kevin I do not know the color of the interior you are working with....
But I have a new... in the box from Roadster Factory....
Interior trim panel kit...complete. Also the cockpit surround kit
in leather. Trim panel in black with white piping. Surround in black
leather. Can make someone a very good deal if interested.

I did my seats, having never done upholstery before. Fiddly, takes some head-scratching and patience, but very doable. There is a good article on BCF, but I can't find it at the moment... anyone know where?

Get some good contact adhesive - I used: > Weldwood Landau Top & Trim High Heat Resistant Contact Cement | DAP Products <.

Expensive, but holds up to high heat (i.e. car interiors). I bought one gallon and used most of it on the various interior bits. It cures quickly, and I definitely wasted a good bit through evaporation. Make sure you use good ventilation!!
