I just recived my new sunfast tonneau cover from TRF. It looks beautiful. I would like to get any input on what to watch for while installing the snaps. I just did the hood and I do have the punch tool. The hood is the black vinyl Robbins mat'l.
Any info will greatly apperciated. If the tonneau looks good with the color combo I will get the (new) hood in the same mat'l and also redo the side curtains to match.

I don't know if there were ever any "factory" instructions for installation of the TR3 tonneau; hopefully someone will let us all know if there were.

Triumph did provide directions for installing a tonneau cover on a Herald. Of course, that's odd in that every factory original Herald tonneau cover I've ever seen came with all the snaps installed. Nonetheless, they did directions, and I found them somewhat helpful when I helped a friend install a tonneau on his TR250.

That said, here are those instructions for whatever they might be worth to you.

Oh, I did a tonneau on a TR3A, but that was back around 1973. I really have no memory of how I went about it, but it came out decently well....
