What are you guys with TR3A's running as tires on 15 inch steel wheels?

Size? Manufacturer/model?

165/15 seems hard to find.

Car will be used (often) for pleasant drives on New England country roads in good weather. It's got a hardtop, so even winter driving sounds good to me.

Thanks all.
Tom

If you're going to make her a real driver, get good modern radials and enjoy the smoother ride and handling a lot more than the old style tires.

Paul - something like:

Kumho "Power Star" 758 - 165/80TR15 ?

They're around $35/each

Yep, those would be perfect... I'd have bought those, but the local PepBoys was out. A guy in our local club has them, and realy likes them. I was able to get
U.S. made 165 15s at my local Firestone, in stock, $200 out the door.... it's a common (old bug) VW size. Have fun, Tom!

I recently bought some Vredesteins from Coker for $85.00 each. I use these on the drive axle of my project cars when I tow them on my tow-dolly.
