I'm rebuilding the engine for the TR3A. I've got the crank in, and the cam, and the front plate on.
I've got the timing all setup, but I'm not sure of the orientation of the oil slinger that goes on the crank. If I'm sitting in front of the engine looking at the crank, is it supposed to be concave (e.g. a satellite dish), or convex (e.g a bullet)?
The manual suggests it should be concave (lip towards the timing cover, I believe it says), however I have it marked as coming off with the lip toward the chain.
